PIGS paper guide

Bright white paper you choose if you are looking for as much contrast as possible in the colours. You should do the same if you have elements in the image that you want to be completely/neutrally white.

White paper lies in the tone between Bright and Natural. These papers have a neutral but pleasantly warm tone. White paper serves most needs and creates very nice results. If you're not sure which way you want to go, you're on the safe side with these papers.

Natural white paper gives a slightly softer and warmer feel. Choose this if you want the most natural colors possible in a nature image, or a softer expression in a portrait image.
