Shipping, delivery and collection

Here you'll find a brief overview of collection in Oslo and flat-rate shipping to Norway, Sweden and Denmark. We pack prints for transport in tubes or flat packs, depending on format and material, so that the work can withstand normal handling along the way.

Important: Standard shipping applies within the maximum dimensions below. Larger formats can often be solved, but must be considered as special freight (transport/packaging), and agreed before production.

Shipping in Norway

Fixed shipping price: £180.
Standard shipping applies to shipments within these limits:

  • Max print width: 110 cm

  • Max package length: 120 cm

The limits are related to what can be safely packed in tubes or flat, and what carriers normally handle as standard parcels. If the print is larger (or needs to be sent flat in a larger format), we need to consider special freight.

Shipping to Sweden and Denmark

Fixed shipping price: 250 kr to Sweden and Denmark.
Standard shipping also applies here within:

  • Max print width: 110 cm

  • Max package length: 120 cm

For larger formats, the shipment must be assessed as special freight due to packaging and transport restrictions. We clarify the solution before production, so that you don't end up with a format that can't be sent properly.

Export, customs and import

When sending to Sweden and Denmark this is normally regarded as exports from Norway and Import into the recipient country. It may therefore be incurred local VAT, any customs/tax assessments (depending on product type/classification) and customs clearance/handling fee from the carrier. Such import costs are usually paid by recipient. If needed, we can attach pro forma invoice or commercial invoice with the necessary information, but final calculation and collection is handled by the carrier/authorities in the recipient country.

Collection in Oslo

You can collect your order from our studio in Oslo. Collection takes place by appointment / during our opening hours, so that we have time to prepare and pack correctly before handover.

Delivery time and packaging

Delivery time varies according to product and finishing (e.g. print alone vs. mounting/clay). We always pack with stability and protection in mind: tubes for rollable prints and flat packs when the format/material requires it. Tracking is used when available on the chosen shipping method, but we cannot control the carrier's actual transit time.

  • What is the maximum size for standard shipping? Standard shipping applies to up to a maximum print width of 110 cm and a maximum package length of 120 cm. These limits are related to safe packaging (tubular/flat) and the carrier's standard package dimensions.
  • Can you ship larger formats than 110 cm width / 120 cm parcel length? "Yes, often - but then it must be considered as specialised freight. We need to clarify packaging, transport options and risks before production, because not all formats can be sent responsibly as standard.
  • How do you pack your prints - tube or flat? We choose packaging based on format and material: tubes for rollable prints and flat packs when necessary. The aim is for the print to withstand normal transport handling without buckling or printing marks.
  • Do I get tracking on my shipment? Tracking is used when available on the selected shipping method and you will normally receive tracking information when the shipment is registered. Note that the carrier's update frequency may vary.
  • How long is the delivery time? Delivery time varies depending on the product (print vs. assembly/clay) and the carrier's transit time. If you have a deadline, let us know early and we will clarify what is realistic.
  • What do I do if my shipment is damaged? Take care of the packaging and document the damage with photos as soon as you discover it. Notify us as soon as possible, and we'll assess how to proceed in relation to the carrier's routines and what is the most practical solution.
  • Can I pick up at your studio in Oslo? Yes, you can pick up at the studio in Oslo by appointment / during opening hours. We recommend that you wait for confirmation that your order is finalised and ready for collection.
  • What is the difference between shipping in Norway and shipping to Sweden/Denmark? The prices are different (Norway NOK 180, Sweden/Denmark NOK 250), but the maximum dimensions for standard shipping are the same. For Sweden/Denmark, there may be additional import costs upon import.
  • Do I have to pay customs and VAT when you ship to Sweden or Denmark? Upon importation, local VAT and customs clearance/handling fees may be incurred by the carrier, and any taxes are assessed by the recipient country's rules. Such import costs are usually paid by the recipient.
  • Can you attach a pro forma invoice or commercial invoice? Yes, if needed, we can attach a pro forma invoice or commercial invoice with relevant information. This can simplify customs clearance, but the actual calculation is handled by the carrier/authorities.
