Awagami or Hahnemühle Japanese paper?

Japanese paper has a long and ancient tradition. Unlike Western paper manufacturers, Japanese paper is usually very thin and fragile.

Awagami is one of Japan's largest and most traditional paper manufacturers, producing paper not only for calligraphy or drawing, but also digital prints.

Rice paper from cock mill however, is an affordable alternative to Awagami papers. Like Awagami, Hahnemühle is a traditional paper manufacturer with over 450 years of experience.
