Paper with a glossy surface is what we most identify with classic photography. Glossy FineArt prints have that little extra finesse and are perhaps one of the many reasons why we are so fascinated by photography as a medium and artistic expression.

There are many different types of prints with a glossy finish. Everything from a slight shine to mirror-like, glassy surfaces. They have more dynamics (deeper black) than matte paper and the prints generally appear more saturated and the colors a little more vibrant. In addition, the glossy surface is very robust and can withstand more than its matte counterpart.
