Classic photo prints are usually on PE paper, which is relatively thin, very smooth and tightly pressed. The grammage is usually between 240 - 280.
The resin coating (RC) protects the surface and gives the paper its characteristic gloss and feel. The white tone of is a notch colder (more blue?) than FineArt paper.
