Matte Velvet prints

In terms of quality, Matte Velvet prints are just below FineArt paper. The prints are of very high quality and particularly suitable for graphic work, even in larger formats.

Velvet grade is not certified in terms of material quality and durability as FineArt paper is. Papers in this category can be of mixed fibers. However, the prints are otherwise very similar to FineArt prints, both in terms of weight and appearance.

Hahnemühle White Velvet 270 is a white, 25% cotton and 75% a-cellulose paper with a surface similar to "German Etching" but slightly lighter in tone.
